Superstripes

topology of one of the bands changes its dimensionality. In this regime a Shape Resonance in the Superconducting Gaps appear. This is a type of Fano Resonance or Feshbach Resonance in the configuration interaction between a first pairing processes in one (or more) BCS condensate and the pairing process in the second condensate at the BEC-BCS crossover in one band at the 2.5 Lifshitz transition. The driving term is the exchange-like or Josephson-like term controlling the pairs transfer between the condensates. The maximum Tc amplification is reached in SUPERSTRIPES tuning the chemical potential to "shape resonance" at the crossover from a polaronic condensate to a BCS condesate. A Fano-like negative interference effect appears for mixed bipolanoic BEC and BCS condensate. For more information write to  This email address is being protected from spambots.
